Gary Busey: What are you wearing right now?
David Lynch: Car chases, things like that.
Busey: That’s you, buddy. I don’t understand you.
Lynch: It’s an easy thing to say. It doesn’t mean it’s true.
Busey: That’s why I’m telling you.
Lynch: No, it’s okay. They’re his things.
Busey: I never do that.
Lynch: I don’t know exactly what it is, but it seems sometimes it destroys something, and nothing good comes of it.
Busey: You have to remember to chase and catch your dreams, because if you don't, your imagination will live in empty spaces, and that's nowhere land.
Lynch: It’s like a piece of electricity and you see the whole thing and you feel it and you know what to do. But you have to be in love yourself and see these ideas unfolding.
Busey: I love love and I love life. I love. I just love. It's just great. It's the most enduring element we have is love.
Lynch: Unhook it, unscrew it, and then just put it back in.
Busey: Me too. I rest my case.
Lynch: That may be so.
Busey: They asked me.
Lynch: So it was very friendly.
Busey: No. Not at all.
Lynch: Some laughs come out of nervousness and some come out of generally funny things.
Busey: I’m glad you’re a joker, buddy.
