Caguamas "Mexico" Once upon a time the word meant a type of turtle in Spanish, but it is now understood as a 40. As in, "I've only got $3, guess I'm getting drunk with a caguama." A California sprite, transplanted to Brooklyn, took up the name for her looping crescendo of noises.
