I guess when you're Pete Seeger in the 60s you can pull in a lot of people for your TV show in spite of its silly name. Scottish folk artist Donovan, making the main appearance here, made quite a name for himself way back in the 60s. He taught John Lennon and Paul McCartney finger picking, stole Brian Jones's girl, and was the first prominent British musician to be busted for drug use. Shawn Phillips, who couldn't earn the same kind of place in folk-rock history, backs up on the sitar.

Discussion
  • Perhaps remembered for the ridicule Bob Dylan heaped upon him in "Don't Look Back," Donovan remains under-appreciated. Songs like "Sunny Goodge St.," "Season of the Witch" and "Sunshine Superman" are classics of the era.
