Narrating is when you simply describe what’s going on and how it makes you feel. Phrases like, “I like it when you ... ” or “You taste so good” fit into the narrating category.Directing can be a little bit more difficult, especially for newbies.Directing phrases are more overt and usually involve words that you might be nervous or reluctant to say to someone you really like.
