are the simpsons still even relevant? when has a good episode of that show been made since the mid-nineties. I hope 2010 and the following decade bring the death of that tired old tv show.
The Simpsons will never stop being relevant. Ever. Thank you.
The writers at The Simpsons have been phoning it in for at least a decade and I agree with Eureka! that the show (save for Mr. Burns, an icon) is low on the relevance scale. Sort of like how I imagine the Rolling Stones coasted for decades, long after they made a decent record.

What does relevant mean? That they haven't been producing entertaining and intelligent content at the same rate as in their heyday? By that reasoning Stravinsky, Mozart, and Paul McCartney are no longer relevant either.
Simpsons aside, are you really comparing Paul McCartney, once a great pop songwriter, to Stravinsky and Mozart?
