American Far-Left: Make Trump’s Day on Migrant Crime

The Democrats will have a hard time halting President-elect Trump's new immigration policies.

The U.S. electorate voted for sweeping changes to immigration policy in the 2024 presidential election. If the American far-left seeks in 2025 to circumvent Donald Trump’s initial “worst first” effort to seek out and deport known migrant criminals or potential terrorists, the Democratic Party will lose ground in the 2026 midterms. Any attempts to shield or defend migrant undesirables, or assist them in evading new policies and laws on the books aimed at protecting U.S. borders, will be highlighted by the incoming administration and conservative media. The result will be a shellacking in the next national election potentially decisive enough to ensure Trump an expanded majority in Congress.

Newly-appointed Border Czar Tom Homan has made clear that the priority as of January 21st will be to round up and deport known malefactors allowed into the country by Biden/Harris. According to Homan, federal law enforcement agencies and state and local law enforcement arms possess extensive information concerning the identities and whereabouts of these unwanted immigrants.

Enter entities like immigrant rights non-profits and legal defense organizations (like the ACLU, whose job used to be to protect American citizens). It beggars belief—not really—that the first time a known immigrant criminal in the process of summary deportation comes onto national radar for crimes or affiliations in his or her home country, that such misguided entities will come to their defense. When activist lawyers step in to block deportation of migrants with country-of-origin criminal records, or other proofs and indications of undesirability, they’ll be playing directly into the hands of Trump, Homan, and the MAGA-infused Republican Party.

Former Democrat Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s characterization of immigrant gangbangers as “children of God” provides an example of the counterintuitive leftist thinking that helped Trump win the popular vote for the first time since Bush 2004, secure the House, and capture the Senate.

The illegal alien who set afire an unfortunate woman in a New York subway, reportedly just to watch her burn, will spend the rest of his miserable existence in a U.S. prison. But there are many criminals that came in under Biden’s “watch” that’ve committed alarming crimes in their home countries. They can’t be arrested for those crimes under U.S. laws; the only solution is to send them back to where they came from, with severe economic consequences for any foreign nation that balks at taking them back.

Trump has stated “We need immigrants,” to join the workforce as America rebounds from the last four enfeebled years. Law-abiding immigrants here illegally will likely be given options for a legitimate pathway to citizenship, a path that doesn’t make fools out of the many who sought to follow the law and enter legally. As long as they stay out of trouble, there will be hope.

Those pathways will crumble if the radical left attempts to thwart policies aimed at ridding the nation of dangerous criminals.
