Analog Africa

African Scream Contest, a compilation from label Analog Africa, came out earlier this year and it was a beauty. Of the many fabulous artists represented on the record, Orchestre Poly-Rythmo de Cotonou easily stood out. The label recently released The Vodoun Effect, the best of some 500 tracks recorded by Poly-Rythmo from 1970 to 1983. For your enjoyment, here's "Iya Me Dji Ki Bi Ni."
