A moment of stunned silence, please. Bored summer interns all over the country will click on one of their favorite applications today and encounter this message: “Scrabulous is disabled for US and Canadian users until further notice. If you would like to stay informed about developments in this matter, please click here.” Frivolous lawsuits! I knew they would destroy this country.
Hasbro has put up its own beta version, which is drawing some (pretty funny) ire, like this wall post: “what is wrong with this game this morning. i tried to play and it only gets to the loading page and then that is it. it stops and i cant get to my games!! is someone going to fix it!!”
Hopefully, by the time fall semester starts, Hasbro will have debugged its application and we can all go back to out-Bingoing our lab partners. In the meantime, may I suggest fake Boggle? Get it while you can.
